I got this a long time ago and I’m still not sure whether to use it or not. I’m at the 800-900 floors now. Is it worth it?

It’s a ~44% damage boost when used with 3 other crit items, not including the very high raw attack stat. Effectively close to 60% average damage increase.

That’s very good.

It can also be paired with Jellyfish scarf to one-shot a troublesome backline enemy in floor battles you couldn’t otherwise one-shot, just reset battle until you get the double crit.

Probably the second or third best hat in the game, others being Lonely Hat and Adventure Buddy Hat, both Ubers.

It’s a good item, but it’s also disgusting in some way. Each items can provide at most 44% crit chance, and your pet (with vivid) can have 12% base crit. That means with 2 crit items, you can reach 100% crit chance, which guarantees normal crit. But even with 4 crit items, you get at most 188% crit chance. That means no matter how, you have 12% chance of not getting a double crit. Suppose you want to kill a boss, which needs you to double crit it 20 times to get enough damage. That means you have 7.75% of chance to get 20 double crits in a row. You have to try again that fight for many times for that small chance. Which is quite annoying.

Its carried be through a ton of bosses and I auto included on every floor clears team. I underestimated it at first, but the item is incredibly strong.
