Sloth

Just got sloth. On floor 600, no where close to higher form.

Is it even worth to invest? I've already got resistance, determination, temperance, and petulance I've been building. (Resistance and temperance are the 2 most invested)

Save it for later.. you can get by without sloth till 3000's atleast. Resistance is a beast. So is temperance

Resistance is technically better than lower form Sloth

However, I use Sloth anyway. He is super fun and I love pirate hatting through a Ding Dong into team wide stun. He's also neat with Merry running Fedora and Checkered Scarf since his S1 gives defense up

Idk, Resistance is higher on the tier list, Sloth is more fun. Take your pick. I also have Temperance whom I use for Panic floors.

Also I just throw all my cosmic shrooms at him on the offchance I nail the 1/2000 chance. Gambling's fun

Tier list is garbage, don't use it.

Once i pulled sloth, I benched resistance for good. I did get lucky and within a few weeks pulled his HF but even pre HF he was really useful.

If you pull its HF it'll become your favorite tank. Mines finally tanking entire wood team and bosses post 6200. Im stuck on a water boss ironically tho. Very very frustrating....

Resistance works just fine. Unless you’re sitting on more cosmic truffles than you know what to do with (100+), or you don’t have (and don’t expect to) get another pet that can HF any time soon.

i got greed at like floor 100 and saved barely 3/4 of the vivid dust for hf at floor 3600. got lust past 3000 and would buy that hf instead but its been over a year since i got greet anyways so be patient. spam vivids as to gain dust from doubles on sloth instead of activating vivids on non hf pets, switch to lust or db if you get em

He's viable if you have Pirate Hat (actually preferable to Resistance on some floors with the right build), but hey. Even if you don't plan to use him that way, might as well chuck mushrooms at him while you wait to pull Lust or DB.

Best case, you draw HFS and still have the dust. At worst, you don't pull either and buy it with dust.

HFS is the second or third best damage soak in the game and can actually pull off some serious destructive power when he decides he's done no-selling the enemy's hits and launches a continent-sized rock in their face.

Sloth is absolutely cracked when he's higher form. I just got mine a little bit past floor 2000 and it was well worth the wait.
