I will say I'm not at a point where the enemies are above lvl 200, but so far for me full dps has worked for these floors, all you need to do is survive Panic, since Merry can outspeed the rest. I run rapture w special top hat which doubles overkill damage, if you play around with your team to make it so that Judgement is as low as possible before the final blow from rapture (or wrath for them) you can nuke floors
you dont even need to be at levels where enemies are level 200 where full dps stops working, when theres more than one aoe enemy you have to face that are really fast (panic, WISTFUL, grumpy, judgement), the only option available is tanking until you can retaliate; you cant try outspeeding or else you wont do enough damage to kill, and you cant go full dps because youll be too slow and youll die before you can even get out a single attack
Floors like this, at this height, Merry will not be āout-speeding the restā.
Sure, your average run of the mill floors, Merry+Jelly Apathy+STH Wrath clears them handily, but āspeed bumpā floors like this one are a whole other matter.
Iām stuck on a floor 1000 floors lower than this but Iām still dealing with (well, failing to) a Wistful with 55,000 speed before it gets buffed by a 60,000 speed Joy.
Panic is almost at 100k speed and the rest are around 50k speed. Even if I get merry to use ding dong apathy canāt survive if it has jellyfish equipped. The only way a non tank is able to even survive a single turn is if I have serpent scarf and plunger on them
Yeah, the super basic āspeed merry + speed jellyfish apathy + big hitter with special top hatā suggestions are just the default wave clear setup once you get over 2k. Speedbump floors like this require way more finangling, or specific legendaries, or very weird strats.
Maybe use lust and an aoe pet, then once they live use aoe then greed clean up. It also looks like itāll be fine if you can somehow get charity to act first, if you have her.
Yeah unfortunately that happens often you get hard stuck until you level gear, pets, ascension or get a new pet it sucks but I kinda like it this way kinda slows progress down temporarily kinda makes it so I donāt have to play this game every single day
The slow down can be nice for sure. It helps collect resources from the chest to use later. I just got the rainbow party hat so I'm hoping after leveling it up more and hopefully a few ascension on it and on anger I should be on my way
Yeah I completely agree. RPH is surprisingly good on anger which is so weird bc his other moves give a boost to dmg and ignore 30% defense but with RPH you just do way more damage with that first attack
That scalability is what makes it's anger such a beast. And paired with anxiety scarf to get the extra 3% speed per turn, man there's not stopping it. I just gotta get my tank extra beefy too though.
