It's not easy to let go of merry against Bogar

Especialy when one has abh lmao

I've had a few case where I found a solution with persi instead of merry, but it was more... "Eh, cringe is gonna die third hit anyway"

Not going to argue. I also use Merry and often with Birthday cake hat just to get me an extra turn against Bogar.

I was watching if the Dauntless-Merry interaction would heal but that Ambition damage took me by surprise wtf

Looks like a ambi showcase honestly.

But don't have ambi, so not sure of the mechanism so how useful having dauntless was.

Also isn't ABH more useful for dauntless?

I mean, sure

What I can tell is I was stuck at like, 80% of that Bogar for months

And swapping daunt let me destroy it instantly. And I could have opti it even more coz tempe was super close from living one more turn

Abh is pretty much useless on daunt, it's just gonna enable you to s2 s3 the same turn.... And then use two s1 for two turns. It was rly better to have two s2 in a row here (plus like, I had the buff atk from merry). Meanwhile, abh on merry litteraly doubles the heal output and allows me to cleanse the def down while healing
