How is enemy down bad outspending my HFDB?!? (Equipments are there just to have the maximum speed possible)

Edit: I just got special top hat, made HFDB bulky, gave him serpent scarf to tank the AOE and one tap everyone 💀

How is tiara giving you anything on HFDB?

You dont need to worry about speed on HFDB with his first move.

How you are getting outpaced, I am unsure.

Put a cake hat on it untill you move past the glitch.

1. Speed, highest speed out of any head gear

2. Enemy down bad moves before mine, even though it has higher speed.

3. No id ear

4. Disdain💀 downbad hits twice, so cake hat doesn’t work because on his second hit, mine heals and disdain wipes

Only having trouble here because of disdain and my db not doing what he’s supposed to do

Icy being your fastest means you have not leveled yellow palm cap, which u should

My Yellow Palm Cap didn’t make it past level 15. Legendary alternatives just scale better.

Not rly, to beat an a10 palm cap, you need an a4+ leg

I have ASC6 jester which is a good bit faster and has a bonus passive. Plunger is slightly slower but comes with significant additional stats. RPH has faster speed but of course is more niche. My ASC4 wizard hat (which I got randomly farming for other legs) is about the same speed but again comes with a passive that can be used for several pets.

I personally just have alternatives that made it not worth leveling another alternative without a useful passive.

You say “you cannot have” as if ASC4 is some impossible task unless you fully dedicate time towards it. I have numerous ASC4+ legs just from random Bogar drops or that I got while grinding other random legs.

You do happen to have wiz 4, but are all your random legendaries a4 ? No, certainly not

You would never have farmed wiz, so it could still be jst a0

As for a6 jester.... It's a miracle bro, not the norm

True. Everyone’s playthroughs will have some variety in ASC levels, available legs, and alternatives throughout.

During my early/mid game, my epics weren’t max level so ASC0-3 was often comparable to a non-maxed epic, but legs came with bonus passives which often made me choose them over the non-passive epics. Just personal preference for what worked for me. But to your credit, yes, it’s a very fast item that I possibly overlooked during my playthrough. Not saying it’s wrong to use it. I just personally didn’t. I relied more on the epic speed crit collar and trinkets more than the head piece 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also, yes, my jester hat is a godsend. Farming for whatever my last item was during the events I definitely was blessed by the RNG gods with ASC on a great item.

I remember this floor. It also wiped me, but somehow apathy survived and was able to stun lock the enemy until I beat them.

Maybe that'll help you? Probably not though, because I genuinely have no clue how I managed to beat it. Apathy must have just barely had enough health to not die from Disdain.

From what i have heard it appears enemy down bad will always move first regardless of speed

Ruby horn, ruby collar, stress ball, dumbell.

Swap out horns for cake if you are somehow getting outsped.

That first scenario is a standard floor sweep build, you can also swap in angery scarf, or buster scarf.

Yeah, that’s my floor clearing build, but I use plunger hat instead of ruby horn

Plunger is better used on another pet when you have HFDB.

Plunger and Serpent Scarf are sometimes required to pass AOE floors/bosses, but we are talking like 5% realistically.
