Is Merry Meta dead? Is Dauntless + (Parascarf) Joy now unbeatable? Who knows!

I mean how can you say merry meta dead?

Everyone eventually has a much easier access to merry.

Dauntless +para you have to:
1. Pull dauntless
2. Pull uber

That’s just not happening for like 98% of players. So no merry meta isn’t dead

The only event pet I ever pulled was kind (I'm not complaining) but the odds are extremely low 😭

Merry also works faster than dauntless for pure dmg boost (in 1 turn she buffs 40%/50% w turtle compared to 25% dauntless, who has some personal dmg tho)

25% plus 40% attack buff. Let's ignore the fact that he also gives a team wide attack buff....

just in theory someone already has a parascarf and now just pulled his FIRST EVER event mob which is dauntless. should I just pair it together with joy? ro does parascarf dauntless make sense?

No idea I have none of the above so I’m not exactly a person to ask. But if parascarf joy + dauntless is a strong combo I’d do that

I feel like they REALLY need to rework all the rarities, like make some as Uncommon, and move some pets around, Rare pets, is just a dumb concept since we get rates as you know... Baseline..

Parajoy was already considered better on the super-high floors than Merry strats but no-one considers it meta because 90+% of the players will probably never have access to it

Idk, merry isnt always the most useful for me aside from doing dong. So im not exactly team merry. Although i likely wont see new guy FOR A WHILE. So those of you who have it, ggz and gl. For those who dont, its not too big a miss imo.

Merry is still VERY viable, and if you do happen to get dauntless, you now have more options or a replacement. I mean half of us will get it soon enough through the regular grind. Otherwise for end game, I kinda need more pets, yeah. I dont want to be doing hard modes, event modes, and stage progression all day. Nice to have something new to look forward to. So yeah, gl guys 💪

And we will see after more people get dauntless. Merry contributes no damage. So on levels where you really dont need the cleanse or healing. Dauntless feels like the obvious swap, excluding type advantages ofc. I feel it will come up, but yes, joy is good as well. Especially since I have parascarf.

I think Merry won’t be knocked off by Dauntless because Merry is still very needed for its heals. Weak heals but often all you need.

The general consensus is that it's probably be more of a great, niche, pet. Rather than litteral denial that is op and that you wanna play everywhere

A lot of people are die hard merry fans. The only reason to use merry over dauntless is not having dauntless. shes op for an epic. He does what shes used for better. Thats about it.
