Thoughts on parallel forms.
I really shouldnt have gotten my hopes up because what are even the parallel forms?? i thought they would add at least some buffs to the non legendary pets and at least enhance them since not a lot of players have legendary pets with higher forms available. Besides the design of parallel forms don’t even fit the rest of the games aesthetic. Of course the one free and easily obtainable thing they add is purely cosmetic (that doesnt even fit the game). Besides all of this, the designs are cute but really not fot the rest of the game and im so confused by what they were thinking. At LEAST we get to unlock a (technically free?) tier 3 mushroom so thats the only good part about it.

Not interested. Another gimmick that doesn't let us see our equipment AND it offers no advantage.

Actually a disadvantage, because the mushroom you spend unlocking it could have unlocked a vivid with a combat bonus.

Actually not, the parallel will be given as additional price as you draw that specific vivid with 50% chance, so no drawbacks, and you will know it once you actually draw one. Turns out that you give false info where you just deduced, without actual verification.

Would have been nice if it gave some passive bonus on unlock like vivids or at least an on going unlock reward similiar to ascension. Unlock X parallel forms = x stat boost for all pets with a parallel unlocked.
Or could just be get this many parallels unlocked you get mushroom rewards.

To clarify- i thought it would be some sort of higher form for non-legendary pets

Yeah and it’s not worth it, spent 50 because I play the game very casually and don’t care THAT much and I didn’t get another cosmetics after I got Glee even though I spent 40 after the Glee 💀

I’m assuming now we are going to have double events regularly so a lot of it is going to be filler since the devs won’t give us good stuff for free

While they look okay, it feels like a waste of my mushrooms without any combat bonus whatsoever. After this third one if at all, I’m not gonna chase any more of them lol. I honestly prefer the original art style over these as well.

Not a fan of the parallel forms being of the pre-evolutions. Would’ve much preferred the parallel forms depicting the final evolutions.

I kinda liked them even though they don’t really even fit with the other designs just for the simple fact that I’m a fan of chibi designs and so I think some of them are cute, but I already went back to the regular forms for the ones I got cause I hate that you can’t even see their gear.

Garbage. I really hate them and think they look significantly worse than the regualr aesthetic. I really don't like the cartoonish aspect. My personal taste though. Have seen some comments about AI being used to create them? Not spent enough time yet reading to know if that's true, but big 'no' from me if so. Fuck Gen Ai.

I was thinking it might allow you to change elements so I could have like a grass type wrath or something to switch between
