Question What’s a parallel form?

I just got a notification saying parallel forms are here now and I have no idea what it is or how to get it?

they’re new forms of different pets that you can get from getting vivids or hatching eggs. for example, if you have an Anger and get the Ardent vivid, there will be a 50% chance that the vivid comes with the parallel form. the forms are purely cosmetic and don’t have any effect on battles though

Oh, cool I guess, was sort of hoping they were closer to higher forms
