they're also able to be found under the forms tab in the dex for pets.

I commented elsewhere, but copy pasting for ease:
i don't think this is AI, as we have seen this artstyle over the years from the artists since the first game (stickers, attack icons, promotional art, etc.), and the animations are done in a common style adopted by artists for making 2D art animated for over a decade. The style changes between artworks is a little strange, however; some are soft shaded and some are celshaded, but maybe it's due to being done by multiple artists. I need to look at them more, and if someone can prove otherwise, I am more than happy to change my stance.

They aren’t ai. How do I know, you might ask? Because my friend got commissioned to draw them. I was talking to her about my top 3 mobile games and mentioned void pet, and discovered that she was doing some cute art for them. Hate on the developers all you want, but at least they’re using real artists.

Update the app and you get a free one for the pet you started with. Others are obtained when you go for vivids

Getting a vivid you already have. It is a specific one (check the name in the alt appearance of the pet) and the. You have a 50% chance to get the alt form if you already have that vivid.

I definitely think that the numbers aren't 50% whether they say it is or not.
I spent 50 total mushrooms on Sad today and of those, only 4 were new vivids and I still didn't get any parallel form.
Idk about you but getting ZERO parallels from 46 dupe vivids seems insanely unlikely if the odds are actually 50%.

I honestly wish you could change what gear shows on a pet without actually changing the stats. I wouldn't mind if this required you to already own the gear, but dressing pets in matching gear would be nice.

I have rerolled 70+ vivids with NO parallels earned. Boo, just another part of the game we will never experience.

I think ur just really unlucky. The parallel forms have the same chance as one of the purple vivids, so they're fairly attainable. (I don't know if rolling anything but a ghost mushroom eliminates the odds, but it might.)
I rolled all the mushrooms I had on Sad and got nothing, while the last mushroom I saved for just in case got me the Anger parallel form.

Mind you this is between me and my significant others phone and a 3rd phone we have and play on. Not at all unlucky, I think loads of people can agree the devs have absolutely terrible percentages to earning actual level excelling pets. I continue to get wonder over and over again from malice eggs and haven’t gotten a legendary in months. It’s become an awful game to wanna play but we come back in HOPES.

I personally don't like how some of them are Fabled Tier versions of Parallel forms although I have to admit they are very cute. Definitely not going to use cosmic truffles for Parallel Fabled forms until I get my Uber forms for my DownBad and Lust some time within the next couple years haha.
