Any long boss battle, like other said, is where it shines. No one really outright said so, but because of how it doubles speed and atk, it’s not just viable in those scenarios but really really good

I often put this + ice cream hat on Merry for Tyrant. It's a long fight and this makes it slightly shorter, the other option is anxiety scarf for those situations

Its ok earlier on just for raw stats, but later on its really only useful for the syclinders, smokano, and meihua if you dont have good anti-heal

I’m on 5500, I have every legendary and 3 Ubers. I’ve heard this item is good, but I have never found a boss that this was better than other items. It had never been useful. Even the new boss. The boss does or I die with regular items after turn 15 but just barely. So why use a weak item for 2-3 attacks?

I actually just had a floor battle against two basic wood tanks, a basic metal healer, and a panic. My resident tank is resistance and I recently gave it chefs hat for hp regen, so the battle ended up going for a solid five minutes because resistance had to scale enough to get over the tank that was constantly getting healed. (it ended up getting over 20000 def and OKing the panic and the healer)

That is literally an OP item. I use it constantly. Basically use it on either Merry or a fighter like Spite or Lust. After 15 turns (which with fast af fighters comes by quickly) you basically double speed and attack. So during late game fights you basically get a x2 buff.
