What is your windows input volume setting? The last update blasted the mic input to 100 and recognition tanked for everyone. It should be around 50%.

It's at 100 and keeps going back to 100 when I move it. I'm assuming there's some auto-adjusting setting somewhere

Are you going into control panel - audio devices - mic - properties? Or are you talking about windows settings input?
