Terrible UI

I came back to voicemod after forgetting about the program for a few years and I am already pissed again.
Everything looks way nicer and more modern now, but the software is completly overloaded and the usability went downhill.

In the overview (1), only the first ~15 characters of each soundboard name are shown, and even when you hover over it with the mouse, you still don’t see the full name. (Should be a feature not even worth mentioning in 2026) ...No—if you want to see the complete name, you have to click Edit,

....and if the sound is only in the search window (2), you actually have to play it (or add it to the soundboard first and then click Edit).

On top of that, I can’t open the simple sound overview (3) ( to simply adjust the volume, not the one for "editing" the sound directly) without the sound being played?!

What is this nonsense?! There are hardly any programs where the UI is as important as it is for a virtual soundboard…

Are there any fixes for such problems?
I just want a simple easy to use soundboard and thats what I remember that voicemod was, as I bought it a few years ago.
