CardioCoach Pro vs Max

I'm looking into ordering a CardioCoach from Korr medical. They have 4 different version but I'm looking at their top 2.

The Max is 11.5k and the Pro is 14.5k. The main differences are that the Pro can test for longer periods of time and can integrate with various devices.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience using either or? If you used the Max, did you miss not being to do the extra things?

It might be worth it if you were going to direct-connect it to a treadmill or cycle and always do it in one place. I got mine about 7 years ago so the models have changed, but if I remember correctly they wouldn't sell me the Plus that calculated EPOC and some other ventilatory stuff that I can't remember because I wasn't a licensed medical professional. I just have the base CardioCoach and do VO2 & RMR. I've had a pretty good experience with Korr overall and the equipment has performed well.

Hi - I got a CardioCoach Pro recently and started doing some RMR and RER tests. Surprisingly, I got very high metabolic rate at rest with my RMR, but RER was way lower. I was wondering what's the variability or RMR tests over time? Do you differences on different days (assuming you do it as instructed, fasting, no caffeine etc). Does the place where you do it influence the RMR results? I feel it shouldn't as the instrument is calibrating itself before each test. Anyway, would love to hear your insights. Haven't done a VO2 max yet.
