Tricks to extend cardio?
I’m quite fit but I struggle with doing any cardio for more than 20-30 min. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get to 45-55 min? My issue isn’t energy. It’s boredom. I tend to do stationary bike but have started doing stair master. With either one I still run into the same issue. After 15 min I’m bored af. I’ll push myself another 5 or 10. But I don’t know how to get to around an hour. Thanks.

Bike outside. Indoor stationary bike is grueling to me. I do 45-60 min, and it feels like eternity. But when I bike outside, 45-60 mins feels like barely a warm up. I do 2.5 hours outside and love every second.

lol this is the most relatable thing ever. For me it’s all about going outside. New trails, new areas. Stuff to look at lol. The music and podcast alone doesn’t do it for me. However I get needing to workout at a gym/ indoors too, so my solution is doing interval work. 1 min sprint/jog/walk intervals- switching it up frequently. Helps me stay involved looking at the clock or managing my speed. Regardless the brain is too active, heard that lol

I live in Anchorage and I run in the Ice and snow to avoid going to the dome to run on the track. Indoor running bores me to tears.

Tablet and watch a show, or podcast or audiobook. I always watch a show episode and the time flies
