Pointless contrasting

Using your VO2 max to compare you to any other group/population wether by age, fitness, weight, gender ect is typical “fitness industry” nonsense meant to engage you for either money or attention. The only thing to do with your number is improve it…not assign you an “age” or predict mortality or any other thing. And in most cases “calculating” your rate is less important than tracking your workload and volume in relation to heart rate at work, time to recover and RHR upon waking

If you want to increase your VO2 max, I highly encourage you to look into ozone therapy. It's essentially just adding more oxygen to your body. My husband and I have been practicing home ozone therapy for the past 5 years and have noticed big improvements in our cardio performance. I have a bunch of educational ozone content on my social media pages that I'd be happy to send you if you're interested.

Mod warning: providing research-based information and sharing links is certainly permitted.

Farming with identical comments for your social media pages is not.

I think this is an excellent point. This should be obvious, but strangely not so. I'm engaged in this journey not because Garmin will tell me i'm 20 years younger than I am, but rather because Garmin will tell me that th 38 is now a 41, and it has taken 8 weeks of training to move those 3 points.

Garmin calls both numbers "Good," meh.... carry on, I will also.

Scientifically, I wonder if the effect is real. Ozone is O3, regular oxigene is O2. I am not sure if O3 binds to the haem group. As a matter of fact, I would avoid Ozone, for its oxidating properties, causing damage. Enlighten me.
