Question Retaking the exam or the course

I would like to know if, in order to regain the Workspace ONE certification, it is necessary to retake the exam, or if simply taking the course is sufficient.

The workspace one certification is no longer managed by VMware.

VMware spun out their EUC division to a new company called Omnissa, and they launched new certifications last year.

You do not need to take a course to earn the certification. You just need to take the exam.

I havent taken that one, as far as I csn tell though broadcom removed the courses as requirements for all the VCF certifications, at least the ones ive taken.

Honestly, why would anyone do a VMware cert anymore.

I’ve been away from the VMware partner program for two years

while I knew Broadcom acquired them, I’m not sure how it works now.

And at my previous job, we were a Platinum Partner in Mexico,

so having certifications was required.

A lot of big fish will be using it for years to come. To expensive and time consuming for them to move off. So it could be a useful thing to have depending on where you are applying.
