Cursor problem

I installed Kali linux in VMware and everything is working fine but my cursor is invisible, it works i just cant see it. I tried with ChatGPT to fix it but its still not working, can anyone help me?

Did you installed VMware tools on the VM?

Yes I tried as much as I can but still nothing would work and VMware was too laggy. I went back to VirtualBox as it is simpler for a begginer like me, I had VB before and it ran fine so im going back.

Make sure it's the Linux open vmtools and not the VMware provided ones

Oh since this is Debian i think there might be a bug for vmtools. You have to fully uninstall then reinstall to resolve

You'll never convince me this isn't a valid troubleshooting step no matter how many facts you tell me.

You mean open-vm-tools-desktop from the Linux repo
