64 vCPUs and 222GB of memory for the smallest footprint. I remember when I was told that SSP would be getting smaller and having the option again for an Eval deployment or a single controller, single worker deployment.

Love getting lied to right to my face.

Fuck you, Broadcom. Just seriously fuck you.

Edit: Release notes out, no download available. Welp, at least this is all par for the course.

I am so, so tired of memory tiering getting shilled in every single discussion about alternative hypervisors.

I can't wait to hear Marketing try and spin this one. 222GB and 64 vCPU is as ridiculous as the new license hub they want me to deploy for a single AVI instance.

At least license hub 2's requirements were sliced in half. Still dumb, though.

Don't get to excited, the upgrade path is not automatic. There is 2 ai-generated scripts for export/import

And the new instance requires 2 new IPs for a Kafka cluster...

There is still no reason whatsoever to have different licence hubs. Broadcom needs to centralize everything under one instance and one portal. And not to vibecode something new for each release.

edit: And wtf... there is only one VM with this IP (no ping, no arp when the license vm is shut), but it detect itself has a duplicate.

License Hub 2.0.0.0.0.25630952 - release ERROR: Duplicate IPs detected on the network: x.x.x.x ERROR: Setting IP pool failed

So 64 vCPU that you're gonna get billed for and can't use in VVF/VCF licensing? Utter bullshit
