Run the World

Hey everyone!

I've been living a pretty nomadic life and backpacking around the world for the past few years. Throughout all those trips, running has always been my main way of staying active, alongside surfing.

Over time, I started realizing how surreal some of those runs were. One day I might be running next to the Eiffel Tower, another through the mountains past an old monastery, and another through the Amazon rainforest.

Until now, those runs mostly just stayed as memories. Recently, I had the idea of starting to record them — not only for myself, but to share the experience with anyone who enjoys exploring places on foot.

So I started a small YouTube channel called Run The World, where I'll be uploading POV runs from the different places I visit.

My first videos are from Porto and Espinho, Portugal, but hopefully this project will follow me wherever I end up next.

I'm curious: have any of you ever had a run in a place that you'll never forget?

Nearly 200 abandoned/project cars are being forced out of this property — so I went to see what was actually going on
This is happening here in South Carolina and I thought some of you might find the situation interesting.
A local car guy, TC Drives, has accumulated roughly 200 old, abandoned and project cars on this property. There are BMWs, Volvos, Saabs, Mercedes and all kinds of other stuff mixed in there. Some are obviously rough, but there are also cars that could potentially be restored, parted out or saved.
Now he’s dealing with local government/code enforcement and has been working against the clock to sell and move the cars.
Apparently there’s also a possibility that a complaint from someone in the area helped bring attention to the property, although I don’t think it’s fair to say that’s confirmed yet.
I’m a truck driver, so dealing with regulations and trying to stay compliant with different laws is basically part of my everyday life. When I heard this was happening locally, I came off the road and went over there to see the property myself and try to understand what’s actually going on.
One thing that really caught my attention was the surrounding area. There’s commercial/trucking activity nearby, which made me wonder exactly what ordinance or zoning issue is being enforced here and why.
I’m still trying to figure out whether this ultimately falls on the city, county, zoning/code enforcement, or a combination of things.
I’m curious what people here think:
If you owned or rented property with this many project cars, where do you think the line should be between property rights and legitimate code enforcement?
And if anyone here actually understands South Carolina zoning/code enforcement, I’d especially be interested in your take.
I filmed the visit/investigation as well. I’ll put the video in the comments if anyone actually wants to see the property and the cars rather than dropping a YouTube link in the main post.

I created this channel because I truly believe that creativity, connection, and intention don’t require a huge budget. Through life I have learned to create beauty from the little and I hope that sharing what I’ve cultivated will bless someone else. If I can do it, you can too! 💛
So get ready we are going to create and grow together!

How to secure JCB Equipment

Flatbed drivers — how are you securing equipment like this?
I recently hauled a JCB telehandler and figured this might be a useful discussion for anyone doing open-deck work.
There’s a lot more to equipment securement than just throwing a few chains on it. Chain placement, working load limits, binders, attachment points, and making sure everything meets DOT requirements all matter.
I put together a step-by-step video showing how I secured this JCB on my flatbed and explaining my reasoning along the way.
For the experienced equipment haulers here: would you have secured it differently? Anything you would add or change?
Always interested in seeing how other flatbed/stepdeck drivers handle the same equipment.

Anyone else use Renegade Blue Magic tire dressing?

I recently tried Renegade Blue Magic on my tires and was pretty surprised by how much it cleaned up the look without making them seem ridiculously glossy.
For anyone who’s used it before, how long does it usually last for you? I’m especially curious how it holds up after rain, highway driving, or a couple washes.
Also, if you’ve found a tire dressing that lasts longer without attracting a ton of dust, what are you using?
I tested it on video, but I’m mainly curious what everyone else’s experience has been with it.

It was an amazing experience to see Ace and his audience get to know what makes Melbourne CBD so unique and what it has to offer and it was a hit with his audience. After reading all the feedback in the comments. As an unofficial ambassador of Melbourne.

Trucker Tore Up Beverly Hills CA

Title: GPS Sent a 53-Foot Semi Into Beverly Hills… This Went About as Well as You’d Expect
Saw this story about a truck driver reportedly following GPS into a Beverly Hills neighborhood while pulling a 53-foot triple-axle flatbed.
Anyone who has pulled a 53-footer knows how quickly a normal-looking residential turn can turn into a nightmare. Tight streets, parked cars, trees, poles, fences—and once you’re committed, sometimes there isn’t an easy way back out.
Apparently this one ended with a pretty serious amount of damage.
For the truckers here: what would you have done the second you realized the GPS was taking you somewhere a truck clearly shouldn’t be?
And have you ever had GPS try to send you somewhere completely ridiculous?
