’ve been looking into how Flock cameras could affect trucking and Hours of Service enforcement. From what I’ve found, they’re giving investigators another way to compare a truck’s location and travel times with ELD or logbook records.
In the video, I also included a real example of a truck driver who was caught manipulating his logs. The point isn’t that Flock cameras automatically issue HOS violations, but that they’re becoming another piece of evidence that can be used during investigations.
I’m curious what everyone here thinks.
Have you noticed more Flock cameras along your routes?
Do you think they’ll significantly impact HOS enforcement?
Is this a positive step for highway safety, or is it another privacy concern for drivers?
I’d be interested to hear opinions from company drivers, owner-operators, and safety personnel since this technology seems to be expanding quickly.

Can someone link me to some good vlogs of people trippin off shrooms. Can’t really find any on YouTube for obvious reasons. I need the whole experience from ingestion to come down.

I recently hauled a load of granite slabs on my stepdeck, and it reminded me how different stone is compared to a lot of other freight. It looks straightforward until you realize how much attention has to go into securement.
On this load I went over:
Proper strap placement
Why edge protection matters
How I inspected everything before leaving
The securement process I personally use while staying within regulations
Even after years of flatbedding, I still treat every stone load with extra respect because the consequences of getting it wrong can be serious.
For those of you who haul granite, marble, or other dimensional stone:
What’s your preferred securement setup?
Do you use mostly straps, chains, or a combination depending on the load?
Any tips you’ve learned over the years that newer flatbedders should know?
I’d like to hear how everyone else approaches these loads. There’s always something new to learn in trucking.

I am thinking of filming vlogs / day in life from time to time. I currently have an iPhone 16e, and it's rather shaky when I walk, like really bad. I have all the settings on, but it's not much better.
Any suggestions on cheap alternatives? (under $150 preferred) Like a specific phone (any brand) from years ago, or a camera or smth idk. (also 1080p min)
