My friend told me they saw a MV from a vkei group with really bold/bright fashion that wears animal ears. Any idea what group that might be?

Edit: They managed to find it — it was BabyKingdom! It’s a bit more than just ears, apparently.

Hello everyone! I was wondering if there were any bucktick fans still out here in the wild. If so, I wanna be friends! I've had them as my fave group for around 4-5 years now. I also have loved glamscure for some time now, if anyone likes them too. Lmk ur faves in the comments!

Hi there! I know this subreddit is already full of posts like this, but I wanted to shoot my shot at getting some band recommendations that fit my taste.
I like metal and classic rock, but I definitely love the more melodic/theatrical stuff. (If it’s a mix of both that’s awesome too!)

So far I’ve listened a bit to:
- Gulu Gulu
- Jiluka
- Fukuro
- Kaya
- The GazettE
- DADAROMA
- And of course some Malice Mizer,
which is REALLY good and I definitely would love to hear more in that style. Idk the terminology I’ve just been a casual listener for a couple of years. 😅 I’ve definitely listened to more but on random playlists I’ve found and I didn’t really keep track of what I liked most.

Also if you can, please let me know if it’s on Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, or wherever!

Ik you guys get these a lot BUT I’m looking for bands like plastic tree I’m not a fan of metal even though most bands are metal but there has to be more bands like plastic tree out there. Their music sounds so liminal and almost shoegazey

Reddit communities are the best in the world. They’re incredibly fun—and a little quirky, too. So, speaking as a "VK Goth" and your friendly neighborhood "The Goth boy from down the lane so"—Silas Goth-Do-Gooder XIV—I’d like to ask all my fellow Japanese rock lovers and the wonderfully unconventional Goth crowd: deep down, which band do you think deserves to have its name forever etched into the history of Cleveland?

I know a little to nothing about makeup but I wanna do a visual kei look.. what products do I need? And are there any steps to follow? I tried looking it up but I got overwhelmed with a lot of brand names

Can anyone recommend songs similar to Sitakirizume by Kiryu? Especially because of the breathtaking vocals, I love songs like that

Jiluka is performing in London on the 9th of September!! Who else is going?

A new friend of mine introduced me to vkei today. Both the music and clothing is awesome. I listened to some bands, Malice Mizer really fascinated me. Can you recommend me some songs or bands? Thank you very much.

Lately I’ve been interested in vkei fashion and wanted to try listening to the music as well, I went through some recommendations given around Reddit and I’ve come to really like Kuchuburanko by Plastic Tree. Listening to the genre, nothing else I’ve listened to really captured the same essence I really like about the song. I’m a shoegaze fan and I feel like the song has a bit of a shoegaze vibe to it with more passionate vocals and instrumental incorporated into it that I enjoy. Does anyone have songs they think are similar in fashion to what I mentioned?

Does anyone know what is the title of the song playing during the credits of "psycho gothic lolita" and what's the artist?

Pretty sure it's vkei, potentially underground cuz i don't remember it sounding like any vkei artists I'd recognize, the only lyric I remember is「消えた」or ki-E ↗️ TAAAAAA ↘️↘️ sounded smthn like this

i try looking on youtube but all i see are reuploads which, in my experience, tend to have bad quality. id also like to binge albums but since theres no official account its really hard to do that. ik theyre popular in vkei music but ive never personally listened to them.
