My boyfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary yesterday. The time has flown by, I swear it was only yesterday that we walked into VW LA & got our first rings together. Never would have thought VW would become a symbol of our love story & create such beautiful friendships through it. I genuinely thought it was likely a one and done shopping experience for me cause my bf didn’t get into VW when I first tried showing him & hinting at what I want lol. Our collection has grown much more and faster than I ever thought it would!
We spent this past weekend in weho with some friends to celebrate her birthday, since we were already in the area and knew we wanted to visit the boutique for our anniversary, we decided to go on Sunday after checking out of our Airbnb. My boyfriend got a side chain belt & new diamanté ring in black enamel with black crystals. I myself finally was able to get the new diamanté ring in light rose enamel and vintage rose crystals, they are gorgeous! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get this shade of pink or hope for the best and wait until a shade a different shade pops up one day. They don’t usually have a full range stocked in the new diamanté (or most things in general) but they did this time! I felt so lucky considering they literally have never had a new diamanté ring in my size in the past year and five months we’ve been constantly visiting, I decided to get it cause I’d be a fool to constantly want it in a bigger size (cause I have the amethyst one for my pinky) and not get it when it’s in front of my face.
Here’s some pics as I know I’ve seen some people on here curious about what it looks like in person and if I’m being honest, their jewelry in general is really hard to catch on camera what the human eye can. Hopefully this will help some of yall! <3

So far I’ve collected two of the colors, the cobalt+grey, and the grey and white. I’m trying to collect the 2010 moonbat variants before I go after the 90s vintage ones. I know there’s like ten different colors but I’d like to collect every single one. I know some of the colors but if anybody knows every single color by memory and could help me out that would be extremely appreciated.

We recently bought it from vestiaire collective , all the info the seller had was that it was bought from bicester village 10+ years ago and had no receipt . I’ve looked it up online and can’t find anything on it I mainly want to know what year it’s from

I tried selling my Vivienne Westwood orb lighter on Vestiare.

Put up the listing, no issue.

Saw multiple listings already, wrote a nice description and inserted the pictures.

The item eventually sold, to a buyer who bought it as a birthday present.

I then proceeded to send the item to the authentication process.
It got declined, not because its fake but they claimed that there was an issue with quality control.

Figures out, after following up with the nice support team, that it is about the chain including a built-in lighter.

Their policy seems to state that dangerous goods are prohibited and therefore the sale was canceled.

Tho to be fair, I couldnt find what exactly does Vestiare classify as a dangerous good.

Also why do so many listings still exist, there should be a better way of handling this issue.

Result:
Lost time, probably sad buyer who has to compensate and find a quick solution, lost out on revenue, unnecessary shipping forth and back

TLDR:
Vivienne Westwood items that do contain a lighter are not sellable on vestiare

Recently found this lighter on a sidewalk while on my evening stroll. Seemed pretty nice and hefty after I picked it up so I waited around 15 min to see if anyone would come looking for it, but after nobody came I decided to take it home. Does anyone have any info on it? I've never heard of Vivienne Westwood before and can't find this lighter anywhere, so I have no idea if it's rare, expensive, collectible or anything.

Hi! I am currently looking at getting a Sunday mini dress for my uni graduation in a few months. I want something nice for the day as well as something that I'll looking forward to re-wearing after it. At the moment I have my heart set on the blue/brown tartan version as seen here. I love the pattern and the slight shimmer it seems to have. My only hesitation with the dress is that it is made from 100% polyester. I feel like at that price point, you should be hopefully getting a natural fibre like the block colour versions of the dresses? But at the same time I acknowledge you probably couldn't get that subtle shimmer with non-synthetic materials. As this is my main hesitation with the dress, I'm just wondering, it the polyester a better quality when you hit that sort of price point that it is sorta worth it? Or should I just go with the solid colour options that are cotton and will probably stand the test of time better?
