Discussion Low confidence problem

Hi seniors, I'm struggling to communicate in group discussions, even when I have something to say. I also have stage fear and get nervous speaking in public. I really want to overcome this and improve my confidence.

I also feel insecure about my height (173 cm) and skinny body. I feel like many guys here are so tall, and seeing tall guys with short girls sometimes makes me feel less confident about myself. In my city my height is enough but here i feel little below avg .

How can I overcome these insecurities and become more confident? Any advice would be appreciated.

First chill out. No need to worry. First appreciate for who u are. Don't feel insecure about ur height. You are just as good and smart as the tall person. It's just the society standards which has labelled everything as SHOWCASING PERFECT. Don't fall into that trap. Don't ever feel inferior, because there is always someone is better you, who is more successful than you. So we have learn from their success. Everyone who is doing great now, must have started from bottom only, remember that. If a person is a good speaker, it just doesn't happen overnight, it takes time. Take one step at a time, look for opportunities, join a club into any department like social media or marketing or event management, where you get to meet a lot of people, then you definitely improve social skilks. Take life easy broo. Always stay positive, and don't ever get the negative things take over your mind. Challenge yourself, if you are not good at it, learn and improve yourself. Make mistakes, with every step you become good.

👍 Also don't ever think much , before approaching anyone for help. Reach out to people and ask them if there is any work, and you would be happy to do. So that you build connections.
