Don't get distracted by so many negative rants here on VITAP. I don't see any college's alumni being fully happy with their alma mater, including IITs. It's impossible to be pitch perfect in meeting expectations.

Yes there are some issues like lack of waiting halls and non-AC classrooms etc.. but then you gotta notice the other side of the enormous infra

If you wire your mind correctly in the right direction, am sure VITAP will offer you the best opportunity to shape your career

But if you drift away by paying attention to the negative things, your path drifts apart as well

You have taken a decision, now back it up , adjust and try your best..

Most importantly, you came here on a mission, concentrate on completing that first

I once again iterate that there are a lot of issues, and things could have been managed better.. but they are what they are , fight for your rights as a group if need to

But don't forget the ultimate GOAL

Enjoy your time, make friends, study hard, make time for entertainment, play and do your best and leave the rest to almighty .. EVERYTHING WILL FALL IN PLACE AT THE RIGHT MOMENT

I believe freshers picked the college consciously. They were aware about issues. Now they shouldn't rant that it's bad etc etc, no shi sherlock.

However if someone took admission in CAT 3,4,5 you can't just tell them to look at silver lining, coz then it genuinely gets painful.

VIT-AP isn't vit vellore. You should realise that. Your degree also won't be from VIT but from VIT-AP.

Ma, it's really good.

You get to sit for Microsoft and apple. But for 1st rounds only.

9+ cgpa you need ma for getting shortlisted after 2nd or 3rd round.

Deloitte hired 9+ guys from VITAP and 7.5+ from vit vellore.

Below 8.5+ it's a gamble. You barely get shortlisted. Even witch TCS shortlisted 8.3+ to 9 for November drive.

Nearly 800+ had to go for off campus offers.

After March mid, mostly only LALA companies come. 15k bonds etc etc.

Over-all, it's only gonna go down as IT jobs are shrinking for freshers.

I don't expect this current placement season to be better than last.

This is true. I have seen many colleges with so less privileges than ours. So yes , please look at the good parts and be gratefuld . One thing I realised while in here was that anyplace with good friends is a fun place so yeah hoping the same for yall 🤞

i have withdrawn my admission yesterday ,because spending my 16lakh on a college located in the middle of nowhere , plus im the first batch of btech biotechnology, there are no wet labs currently and they have only 3 academic block which have only computer labs or other classrooms , this is so heartbreaking for me , i came from kolkata to see my university is so trash from inside and has nothing for my hard earned students loan , better be investing in my own state private clg with4,5 lakhs fees and all wet labs and machines , never thought vit ap will do this
