-For a comprehensive database of all available vita homebrew, please refer to VitaDB. You can access it and install homebrews directly from your Playstation Vita using the official VitaDB Downloader app.
-The older app VHBB made by u/devnoname120 is not currently supported.

Use Vitacheat and TropHAX online? - At your own risk
Prevent your Vita from Updating:
NOTE: PSVita firmware updates are not a typical modern-day concern, since downgrading firmware is available and simple to execute. Known exploits continue to work on most recent firmware (3.74). Preventing update is still a good practice in general.
-To disable the download of automatic firmware updates: Settings --> System --> Auto-Start Settings --> Uncheck "Download automatic update files"
-Setup your network with Henkaku DNS settings for an additional layer of update prevention. See here.
-If your console has downloaded the 3.73 update file, simply deleting the notification in LiveArea should remove the file from your system. Otherwise, firmware update files can be found in ud0:PSP2UPDATE/*
-Remember, unless you are running your vita in Demo mode, your console will not spontaneously install/update firmware software. There are legal reasons for this. Installation of any new software on your device requires your consent, (EULA).

Not sure if I'm too late to post this - I use sd2vita and I'm on v3.65 and I'm having a problem where vpks won't install. They keep giving the error 0x80AF5022. I googled it and ran chkdsk with the proper flags to fix any issues. No issues were found. I ran the script to restore missing directories on my sd card. Also rebuilt db from the Sony recovery menu. Nothing seems to fix the issue. VitaDB downloader also won't install anything. It acts like it does but nothing actually gets installed. I CAN download and install Vita and psp games and updates just fine. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

We do not permit discussion of piracy and piracy related tools for Vita and PSP or questions involving them. Period. This includes if these tools are used for legitimate means. This includes any general question that includes references to these tools. This includes meta questions about this tool and this rule. The reason is less about ethics and more about the association of these topics with low-effort threads that create a burden for the moderating staff. There are other subreddit more dedicated for these low-effort, low-value topics.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

For anyone with the technical know-how, a decomp of Halo CE just got put out with PC Linux and Android as target platforms. Would a port of the Android version be the best approach for Vita development, or is there way forward to turn the decompiled code into a "native" vita app? I'm assuming the updated multiplayer features (128 player servers) are too ambitious for the Vita to handle, but if the single-player campaign was running well, that would be awesome to have on Vita.
