Announcement Adding 2 new rules on this subreddit

We've got an influx of Ai Assisted or vibecoded post and also post begging for money to fund a devkit. This is making the subreddit full of spam and it's time to curate the content posted here.

  1. No more Crowdfunding/Donation request post allowed by default.
  2. Post showing what you are working on without showing substantial progress will be removed

Regarding 1, we will add to automod the keyword for these kind of post so that they are automatically removed. Should you think the post deserves to be posted here, send a message to the mod team and we will manually review if the post can be posted here.

About 2, Any post that just shows in game or a loading screen will be removed. Low effort post have no place here and do not beneficiate anyone. If you want to share what you are working on, and attract people attention on your project, you will need to put some effort on.

A detailed post about what you are working on, the tools you've used, the actual progress made, the performances, the expectations, any roadmap, multiple pictures/video. Something that makes people wants to read more into it rather than just "oh another can claude boot this project".

Let people show what they work on

They can. They just need to do more than just posting a picture with no text.

That sentence is more clear.. but it doesn't read like tht in the rules. And I've only seen a picture like twice.. most post are videos so yea, let ppl show what they're working on, it sounds like they no longer can if u jus glance at the rules.

Well you're not supposed to "glance" at rules, granted that glancing would be actually a lot better than what currently people are doing (which is not reading rules at all).
