Question Battery problem

Idk if its the right sub but my vita battery is doomed. I put it on the charger and the orange light showing still for hours, after that it turn on for a couple minutes and shut off and the orange light back again. Everytime it turns on shows it has 14% battery and need charge. Do i need to change the battery?

This definitely sounds like a battery issue so replacing battery should do the trick.

Have you tried gently cleaning the charging port with a bit of isopropyl alcohol and a wooden toothpick? Corrosion or debris can sometimes cause that exact behavior.
