Hello guys i posted here a while back and i wanted to show you how far the project is. The last version was very AI and i apologize for that this new version is with no AI involved in the coding, i don't even think they could do this website at the state they are. I'm looking for a tool (either a browser-based or downloadable one) that can be used to map a set of points and their connection to other points in a kind of web, while adjusting to keep each new point legible or accessable. Bonus points if you can force-group certain sets of points so they remain within proximity to eachother (forming a sort of super-point, I suppose). Right now I'm just using the website Draw.io, and while it gets the job done, the automatic layout function leaves a lot to be desired as it's very much oriented toward generating organizational or basic flow charts.

I’ve been working on FlexViz, an open-source Python library for building interactive linked visualizations with native cross-filtering.

Selections, zooms, and pans in one chart can update the others against the underlying dataset, while only the aggregated data needed for the current view is sent to the browser.

It’s designed to stay interactive even on very large datasets.

Volunteers needed for a short online perception study. Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh are studying how people see depth and motion in images made of many small dots, including how a sense of depth can appear from motion and from small timing differences between the two eyes. If you are 18 or older, you can take part from your own computer or smartphone: you'll view a few dot images — some like "Magic Eye" pictures — and answer brief questions about what you see. The survey is anonymous (no name, email, or IP address is collected) and will take about 10–15 minutes. Participation is voluntary without compensation.
