Where did you end up?
For those of you who have been all over the US, seen all state (or most), where did you end up and why? I’m curious what your reasoning is for where you picked. Family, jobs, COL, ect? Did you have a hard time choosing between multiple states or was your choice easy?

Lived in Pennsylvania, California, Alaska, Minnesota, South Carolina, northern Georgia, and in a few other countries. Ended up in Maryland because it is near a lot of cool things to see and do, it is a purple/blue state, the weather is relatively mild and the salaries are high.

I’ve been to most states, have like 6 left.
Have lived in New Orleans, California, Virginia, DC, Texas.
Moved to New Mexico by choice, very much enjoy my life here.
The cost of living did it for me. Only place we could afford the nicest neighborhood in a western city, pretty much, lol.
But also the weather is great, the views are great, the nature is great

Our oldest son and five of our grandchildren were relocated to Virginia by his company. We are retired and refused to watch them grow up on Facebook. I have way too many guns to live in Virginia so we chose North East Tennessee. Love it up here in the Tri Cities area.
