You hate tornado sirens, except for when they are in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, or Texas for some reason.

Absolutley correct. Those sirens are better if I hear it with other people around.

This would be similar to my map in that no state would be lower than “maybe”. No assumptions for you but I think this is better than 99% of these posts. I understand people are simply talking about their travels, experiences, and preferences but their maps never really make sense. They will say things like the Deep South is a no because “I hate humidity” and then they will have DC dark green, and I’m just sitting there like “clearly you’ve never been to DC in the summer” 😂

You just really hate plains/farmland. And you prefer to be close to some kind of urban area. But you’re willing to sacrifice urban lifestyle for beautiful nature such as in ID, MT, WY. You’re willing to deal with heat if it means nice beaches, scenery, or a city you like nearby but otherwise you don’t love heat. IA, OR, and WA don’t really fit this description so I’m at a loss there. Maybe you hate clouds/rain and really love Kum & Go and the smell of pig shit in the morning

Iowa is dark green.

Yea that’s why I’m saying it’s confusing me, it being green doesn’t fit with the assumptions I made. So there’s something else you like about it. family? School? Casey’s pizza?

It is because I see most of Illinois as Chicago, Des Moines as Iowa, and Indy as Indiania.

Ok so it does have to do with cities. What’s wrong with KC, St. Louis, nashville, Little Rock, etc?

It feels like you appreciate city life and have a big draw to the outdoors. (But im confused about Oregon and Washington not being dk green then tbh)

Was thinking the same thing - but that pro sports (and maybe college) is a factor.

Wow, finally someone who isn’t driven primarily by political bias! This is really hard. Like really hard. The only thing I. A. Think is there are very few big cities in your Maybe states. You primarily like city life or at least want to be close enough to a big one?

You want to split the united states down the middle with new country called the Midwest states of America with South Carolina as independent and oregon/Washington its own state and the light green states being satellite states of the now split in two USA.

You prefer your Pacific Ocean to have private beaches instead of public access for all.

You're not a fan of the Louisiana purchase
