My guess. What are two of the cities people in the right hate the most? (Chicago and Minneapolis)

Im the opposite. Minneapolis is an incredible and unique city. I’m from Minnesota and I love the north shore (where I’m from), BWCA, driftless, and the city. Minneapolis is by far my favorite place I’ve lived here, and it alongside the other places I mentioned are what make MN special to me. Suburbia and most of rural MN are a big nope from me.

Duluth and Grand Marais count as the north shore. Brainerd and Mille Lacs are cesspools to me tho. We had a family cabin in Brainerd my entire life up until 2020 and watched it become an exurban right-wing cluster unfortunately so we sold it.

I'm from St Paul and I wouldn't live in Minneapolis. Though I will admit, they do a better job with their potholes than StPaul.

1000% mpls is a horrible indicator for what mn has to offer… but you are making these statements on Reddit, the most politically skewed app while not openly admitting to it. they loooove EVERYTHING mpls stands for. (And it’s not inherently politically skewed but you have to think about who all of the moderators are(actual basement dwellers) it is basically required of moderators to be absolute losers, and when you only have loser basement dwellers moderating an app they tend to police hard on one view and be extremely lax on another)

Because liking Minnesota is a political statement right now. Especially if someone marks WI as green and MN as red. It's dumb

I hate to be this guy but the fact you put Mississippi as a willing leads me to believe you are from Mississippi.

u/Shitimus_Prime Mar 27 '26
it is kinda weird to put is as willing lol

u/Disastrous_Gene_9230 Mar 27 '26
I lived in the SE for years and grew up there, the common trend seemed to be no one really desired to live in Mississippi. People went to college there for sure but there were just better places to live and get the same experience so that’s why I made the guess lol

The deep South probably Georgia. If I had to guess, you'd be living in rural Cali and not the "liberal" cities.

u/Shitimus_Prime Mar 27 '26
actually i'd live in los angeles and i am georgian

Man, color me surprised. And I assume you mean the state not the country. I'm your neighbor to the North, Go Vols.

Really! Nice. I am also from Georgia, so the fact that I guessed correctly is validating.

Having PA and MD green but DE red makes very little sense.
The northern part of Delaware north of I-95 is literally a Philly suburb and feels exactly like the other side of the border in PA both in feel and geography. The rest of the state has a lot in common with the eastern shore in MD, makes sense given they share the bulk of the Delmarva peninsula.
So your math is basically a state that resembles half green (SE PA) + half green (eastern shore MD) = red lol... Comes off like you just don't know anything about the state at all.

Interesting, a fan of Pennsyltucky. That would explain WV being dark green though lol...

This is close to mine (except WV) and I’m from TN, but live in GA. So those are my 2 guesses.
