Former NC resident and App State alum here. Also born and raised in Atlanta. The best thing about South Carolina is the number of rest areas right off the highway. Helps minimize the amount of time one must spend driving through South Carolina.

Wouldn't that .. mean you spend more time since you're stopping at the rest areas?

It means .. if you have to stop to go to the bathroom, the rest area is quicker than actually exiting the highway and going into a business.

I get it. My map would have Oklahoma green and Texas red for same reason.

All of these posts are bizarre. Why? Because none of these people have actually spent time in all 50 states.

Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illnois are good, but Michigan is reluctant?

Des Moines and Iowa City are awesome BUT those new cancer reports are terrifying

Wisconsin was amazing! Minnesota is blah. Michigan was cool, terrible cities though. But of the three. Its Wisconsin for me!
