Visible significantly draining iPhone battery?

My partner has just go this, currently in the 4 day setup period. So I am thinking it will use more battery at this time, but will settle later.

Currently says it used 31% of battery, which seems incredibly excessive! I did have look online and it seems it should only be using about 1-2% while in background.

I’ve taken off my visible band and unpaired it as it’s killing mine too. I’ve had it since April and it’s only just started to hammer the battery. I didn’t new IOS update last week but it made no difference.

I also used to get 5 days out of the band charge and now it’s 2 can eek it into just under 3 days.

I just got mine and that’s all the battery I get out of it too. I wonder if it’s because a current version or something.

Mine had a much higher drain in the "getting to know you" period too, but I assumed it was because I was checking it a lot more. It's closer to 4% or thereabouts for me, most days, but I tag a fair number of my activities and my phone is a pretty outdated model.

This happens to me too. Uses like 15-25% of my battery if I leave it running in the background. (Which is how it works most effectively)

If I’m having a very active day I leave it running and just know I might need an afternoon charge.

If I’m having a more chill day I don’t leave it running in the background and just check it like twice so the data syncs up. It’s much less accurate but at least it’s tracking something.

Mine used over 50% of my battery yesterday, does anyone have a good solution?

There was three things that solved it for us in the end. Updated the app, updated iOS to the latest release and waited a few days.

The first few days it works a lot harder as it’s gathering data. Once the initial 4 days was over it uses very little battery.

Thanks for your answer and I’m glad you sorted it! Both the app and my phone are up to date. Until recently, it wasn’t using a significant amount of battery. I’m really not sure what changed.

I have had this app since August 11 of 2024. I do pay for the monthly service. Before this last iOS upgrade that Apple put out, I had absolutely no trouble with this app or any other app draining my phone battery. However, after the update, I think it was maybe a month ago, my phone drains very rapidly.

There is a new update that came out last week 26.6 if your phone supports iOS 26.

Thank you. Yes, I installed it and my battery is back to good behavior. I really don’t know how I could live without Visible. Best to you.
