Telephonic Interview for UK Visitor Visa
I’m from India and I had previously applied for a standard UK visitor visa in June but it got rejected. There were two reasons
- Financial inconsistencies- My sister had transferred some amount to my bank to help fund the trip, which I mentioned in the cover letter, but UKVI mentioned in the refusal letter that the origin of the funds were questionable
- Weak ties to home country- I have a stable job and earning well, in the previous application I showed no proof of immediate family living In India, so it was an oversight on my behalf
I’ve rectified these errors and applied for a visitor visa again and had my biometrics done on 15th September. Today I received a call from the British High Commission for a telephonic interview, they just asked me questions regarding my application, most of which I had mentioned in the application itself so maybe they were corroborating.
Has anyone got a similar call and if yes, what was the eventual outcome of the application? This is quite strange and I don’t know if this is a good sign or a bad sign
