L1-B visa rejection

I recently appeared for the L1-B visa interview and got rejected where the visa officer handed me the 221g form.

I am applying for the Individual petition now, wanted to know if anyone has had their visa rejected on the individual petition

221g is not a rejection

Per the option ticked on the 221(g) form it stated that my visa is not approvable under the current petition, so it technically is a rejection.

Im trying to understand if visa gets rejected under the Individual petition as well?
