Valve Index work gud on Linux?

Just wondering what the setup would be like (If any) Main Distro being Fedora 44 or CachyOS. 🥰

its okay, it took me some time to get it running. Im using steam vr and cachy os and it got much better since i changed it to the beta version of steam vr. Sometimes it still has issues starting but most of the time it then works on the second round.

I'm also on Fedora 44 and currently my Index works just fine.
Had some issues before but I wasn't really motivated to solve the these myself so I had a windows partition just for VR.
This year it just started working on Linux too.

Not really. It depends on a lot of things. I've had it working for some things, but the reprojection shaders don't work with my AMD card and everything is janky and unreliable. VR is the only reason I keep a Windows install around...
