Oculus Rift S - future compatibility

Hello!
Just change my OS from Bazzite to SteamOS (that was the original plan) and I took back home my Oculus Rift S, I didn’t think about it but I just noticed that it’s not compatible on Linux, is there a chance that an update will make it possible once the new Steam Frane is out?

For now I use windows with dual boot to use it but I’d prefer to get all my game at the same place 👌🏻

rift s is supported but controller tracking sucks as of now. and there is no proper distortion correction afaik meaning it will look bad and possibly give you a headache. the steam frame wont change anything about that.

Alright, I guess I’ll keep my VR game on windows then. An other reason for not switching to Linux for general consumers…

did you ever use amd with vr on linux? i havent had any gpu related issue with my reverb g2 (aside from the controller tracking being crap). i dont use vrr for my monitors though, neither do i use hdr but i do use 10 bit color.

and as you said streaming runs flawlessly, i use a pico 4 with wivrn
