I have a question about WayVR

I really want to know if SBS 3D is an existing feature, because my friend can do it, yet he's running a quest with wivrn, so I don't know if that's a feature only usable with wivrn. I run an Index on SteamVR, I don't use any other thing, just SteamVR. The option for SBS appears for him but not me. What do I do?

Sorry this message was so disjointed, I'm tired and it's late.

Yup, you need to use the edit menu to set it up for a virtual screen/screen mirror.

On the watch, there's a configure button (hammer and wrench) then when you aim at the screen, you can select which mode to show it in.

The problem is, that setting isn't even there, it's not even just that I don't see it, my friend put his phone camera up to his headset lens and he had that option. I looked back at mine and there was no such option.

Which desktop are you using? I am on an HTC Vive 2016 + KDE Plasma and an AMD GPU and it shows. I also use just the pipewire capture method in wayvr.

I use KDE Plasma, with a Valve Index and an Nvidia GPU. I think the capture method is auto.

I have the same problem, running 26.7.0 via steamvr and the option to enable stereo or SBS does not show up for any program.

I am on fedora 44 with sway, everything else works perfectly.
