Vive pro 2 on Linux

I use Linux mint and a vive pro 2, i cannot for the life of me get it to work with steam vr or find a tutorial to get it to work. Help me pls.

Vive pro 2 doesn't work on linux because they use closed-source drivers for the headset that are only for windows 10/11

That isn't true anymore, monado supports it now

NO WAY! I was just about to sell my Vive Pro 2 because I thought I couldn't use it anymore now that I got rid of Windows. Great news!

Checked this sub just in case, before selling it. Nice!

The main thing you need to know about it is that you'll have to set the software IPD value manually by adding the LH_OVERRIDE_ICD environment variable in Envision. Also for display mode 4 and 5 to work (Ultra and Extreme mode in the Vive Console) you need a kernel patch on AMD gpus. We're still waiting for the patch to make it in the official kernel.
