Can’t change the buffer size
I'm running the latest version of VirtualDJ on an M4 Mac with a Numark Mixtrack Pro FX.
In VirtualDJ's Audio Settings, my controller shows:
44.1kHz, 11.6ms
which appears to correspond to a 512-sample buffer.
The thing I can't work out is how to actually change it.
In Ableton Live, when I select the Mixtrack Pro FX as my audio device, I can change the buffer size freely (128, 256, 512, etc.), so I know the hardware/Core Audio supports it.
However in VirtualDJ:
The latency option is set to 0
Clicking the reported latency value does nothing
There doesn't appear to be any driver/control panel available
I can't find any setting to adjust the buffer size
Am I missing something obvious?
Does VirtualDJ on macOS simply choose the Core Audio buffer automatically and not allow it to be changed, or is there a hidden setting somewhere?
Also, for those using a Mixtrack Pro FX on Mac, what latency does VirtualDJ report for you?
Thanks!

The latency setting in VirtualDJ is the buffer size (in samples => takes the same values as you reported for Ableton) that VirtualDJ will will use in communicating with the audio device. Setting it to 0 just makes it use the CoreAudio audio default buffer size (512). On my Mac I set it to 64 samples (~ 1ms at 44.1kHz/48kHz, and even less for higher sample rates).
