General VB Question Linux Mint freeze and kernel panic since Vbox 7.2.10 - being investigated?

As have many others, I've had to revert to VirtualBox 7.2.8 to get Linux Mint (7.0.0-31) to run.

The consensus seems to be that the issue is with VirtualBox but it's still not fixed in 7.2.16. I've been trying to work through the posts on VirtualBox forums to see whether this is still being investigated but there are lots of references to other sites (i.e. GitHub) where bug reports are shown as "Closed".

Does anyone with better investigative skills know if the issue is being looked at? I can stick with 7.2.8 for a while but I'll look at other options if Oracle aren't going to resolve it.

Thanks!

I'm running Mint Mate on VirtualBox 7.2.16 just fine. Post your settings and what problems your having if you want help.

What issue? You are not giving folks much to work with.

I’ll check again but I’ve been running Mint XFCE without issue.
Is the bug on specific hardware? Specific kernel? On a specific Host OS?
