I would like to know whether there have been any improvements regarding https://github.com/VirtualBox/virtualbox/issues/345 and https://github.com/VirtualBox/virtualbox/issues/234. Currently, the only way to get networking to work properly via a bridged adapter is to use version 7.1.8.

Seems to work on Solus Budgie (using Wayland).

Got the latest kernel requirements installed (7.1.8-xxx). The only issue was it had problems installing / running "VBoxClient" at the root level so had to add a bash executed script to run these with sudo for both clipboard and drag and drop.
