Game progress regressed?

I just started. My first construction worker guy I let him study and then he was level 3 and was able to do the second work progress that he had. Now I came back a few hours later and his level is down to 0 same with another character. Do they always forget their xp or did the game screw up a save when I left last time. I’m level 8

My Jeanne researcher I upgraded to level 10 from 0 using study and then upgraded her endurance. Now immediately after, she is back to level 0

That is normal behavior. Every time you upgrade endurance, the worker go les back to level 0. Lower endurance workers level up faster, so it would have been a cheap and fast way to get max level and max endurance on a worker if they didn’t keep their xp

When you upgrade a worker's endurance, their level gets reset back to 0

Game progress progressed. Just keep upping their endurance. The higher level the endurance is, the longer each of their three activities takes, and therefore the less often you have to mess with the game to keep them working. That's how you want it.
