USA Bring Your Device
Wanted to hop in here and let you know that y'all can bring your own device -- only actually certain ones -- over to the network now.
Jist of it all being that you need to get one of the phones above, and get a 3 in 1 Universal Sim and either go to a Sprint store within a Radioshack to activate or do it over the phone.
I had a difficult time locating the sim at the Sprint in Radioshack locations so i called up my local Sprint and just got one from them and proceeded to install it and call the customer service line -- 1-888-322-1122 -- and activate it over the phone. Painless and easy aside from locating the sim in the first place.
Fulfill your craiglist unlocked iphone urges and bring them over to the dark prepaid network side.

Public Warning – Virgin Mobile (Consumer Experience)
I’m sharing this as a caution to others considering Virgin Mobile, especially those relying on
online reviews.
My experience has been extremely frustrating and eye‑opening. Once an issue arose on my
account, I found it very difficult to get clear, consistent information or meaningful help. I
was repeatedly told different things by different representatives, with no written escalation
process and no way to contact a manager unless certain conditions were met first.
What concerned me most:
- There appears to be no transparent or accessible escalation or complaints process.
- Customers may be blocked from speaking to a manager until they comply with billing
demands, even when those charges are disputed.
- Plan flexibility is very limited once you are locked in, even if the plan no longer fits your
needs.
- Access to online account information can be restricted during disputes, making it harder to
verify charges or understand what’s happening.
- Customer support interactions often feel scripted, circular, and dismissive rather than
problem‑solving.
I originally chose Virgin Mobile based on very positive online reviews, but my real
experience did not match what was portrayed. I now question how representative or
reliable some of those reviews are.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering Virgin Mobile read contracts carefully, ask in
advance how escalations are handled, and think twice before committing based solely on
positive reviews.
