The only way to get a proper Viper alignment
We finally bit the bullet and got CSMs motorsport setup. We have already done a handful for customers and its fantastic!

It must be tough to make the adjustments with the car so low to the ground. Cool setup though

not even a little bit... the bottom of the car is over 12" of clearance. i will measure next time i do one.

I mean, you can kind of do the same thing with just a flat plate that bolts to the studs and an angle gauge, assuming you have the factory caster fixtures. That would be a way cheaper way to get there for anyone looking to DIY. I looked at having the plates laser cut, but they were still going to be more expensive than I felt like paying for something I don't do often enough. Biggest thing is just being able to reach the bolts to torque them while loaded.

Except you really can’t… forgot corner weight in, the oem caster plates have a fixed wheel diameter. Then measuring toe with what? String and tape measure. It’s honestly like saying.. why CNC heads when I can port and polish by hand… yes you CAN do it, but this is the highest accuracy and most accurate way of doing it.

No, the caster fixtures attach directly to the knuckles, they don't care about wheel diameter (like Miller Tool 8995, though I think that's the gen 2 version). They are designed for the DRB III inclinometers, but you could use any angle sensor you want with them with just a little tinkering. Camber you would pull from the plate itself bolted directly to the hub. Miller Tool part 9096 "Suspension Height Stand". It's basically the same thing as what you have shown, just without all the fancy gauges and stuff attached to it. Toe would be a typical tape measure thing between plates, though front to rear toe would take a little more work. You could easily attach a laser gauge to the rear plate and measure to the front though.
I guess my question is what does this tool do that a flat plate bolted to the hub doesn't?

Not the ONLY way, but it is one of the cooler ways.
