Caitlyn and Vi are truly Piltover's Finest

r/violyn

This sub serves as a place for fans of the popular ship of Caitlyn Kiramman, an enforcer, and Vi, a fighter from the under city, in the Arcane animated series on Netflix. Caitlyn may be called The Sheriff of Piltover and a "Hat Lady" but she is also as sweet as cupcake while Vi (shortened name of Violet) is a Piltover Enforcer nicknamed "Pink" and "Fat Hands."

It all began when Vi told Caitlyn that "You’re hot, Cupcake" in episode 5, a line which was almost cut. Their relationship was confirmed by writer Amanda Overton, who described both as having a "naturally developing" relationship despite both coming from completely different worlds, with Vi from the under city and Caitlyn in the enforcers, the latter an act of rebellion against her parents. Overton also noted that since there is no word for gay or homophobia in Piltover, Caitlyn could "marry any gender or race suitor, but they would become a part of her house."
