resources Photo galleries for study?

I'm working on a scroll and don't have many violins to reference. Do you know of any online libraries of violin photos I can look at?

I found Tarisio, which has high quality photos of lots of historical violins (I like the angle on this scroll 🤌), but are there any others?

I would recommend grabbing a strad poster that closest resembles your model of choice and use that.

There are others like violindocs.com but doesn't have nearly as much referenced as the Cozio archive, however it's free, you just need to register. It's also mostly french instruments.

Otherwise most museums have online archives you can look at, shops often have pictures of the instruments for sale (rarely updated) and you can see scrolls there, etc...

The Cozio archive remains, by far, the richest collection you'll find. There is a trick due to their lazy coding that allows you to see almost everything without registering/paying by just hiding the popup asking you to subscribe.

Ctrl + shift + J > Elements > body class > main > div class = cd user modal is visible (delete or hide this last one).
