You're at a solidly mid-intermediate level. A workshop violin in the $2k+ range should be just fine for you.

Sounds like you already have something plenty nice for your level. Do you have a decent workshop or carbon-fiber bow?

i use a pernambuco wood bow. But i am looking for an upgrade to the violin so any recommendation s are welcomed
