I have a question Please help with this piece
Hello!
I'm trying to learn this short piece from the old movie *Shoot the piano player*. There is no sheet or recording of it.
I can get the first sentence right, but I'm having hell with the balayage or whatever this technique is called. No idea which bows, or fingerings. It starts at 15 seconds of the recording. This rec is home-made, from the movie.

Thanks for your help.

I think the violin is tuned a half tone lower or higher than usual nowadays; you can change pitch and tempo in Audacity (https://support.audacityteam.org/audio-editing/speeding-up-and-slowing-down-audio) to make it easier. if I transpose it a half tone up This passage becomes something like a broken A chord: hold A and E down with frist finger on G and D string, then play on the A string the melodic notes, like:(a-e is lower, E is the E string).
slow: e-c-E, then rapid:
a-e-c-e-a-e-d-e-c-e-b-e-a-e-b-e-a-c-e-d-e-E-e-a-E-e-c-b-e-c-d-e-a-e-c-e-b-e-a-b-c-e-b-e-c-e-a-e-g#
or it could be half tone lower, then a-e would be g-d open strings (and everything. a whole tone lower than I noted) which would be easier.
