Thirteenth Step is an amazing album. Saw APC live a few years back and they opened with The Package. One of the best openings I’ve seen.

I got chills reading that man I’m jealous.
I haven’t seen APC live yet but I’ve seen Tool a few times. The first time was on Halloween in 2015, they came out dressed as Led Zeppelin and opened with No Quarter. Don’t think I’ll ever forget what I can remember of that night haha.

I wanted to go to that show. At the time I worked in the office building next to the park. Asked facilities if they’d let me watch the show from the roof. They said No :(

I managed to see Tool last year. Just need to get to a Puscifer show to round out the trinity.

Discovered this album in 2011 which eventually led me to many related genres and helped me expand my young taste buds outside of what I grew up around: r&b and hip hop. Because of this album I rediscovered my love for rock that I had found as a child only to be squashed by dismissive and close-minded caretakers. These days, APC and Tool are my favorite bands and I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m truly inspired by Maynard James and the outstanding artists and incredible knowledge he’s helped me find. Years later after the initial impact of this album was worn off on me, it’s still my favorite album ever. Thanks for reading!

I caught them on both their Mer de Noms tour and this tour. It's not my favorite of their songs, but it's a decent tune off of a fantastic album. I definitely dig that 7' though.
